The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN66.14trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 105,475.38Basis points, increase 117.9Basis Points, representing a 0.1% decrease, and a YTD increase of 2.59% as against the previous trading day’s close of 105,593.28Basis points.
Cumulatively, 124 NGX equities participated in trading, ending with 31 gainers and 19 losers. Mutual Benefits Assurance led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 0.88 per share, followed by Royal Exchange (+9.88%), N.E.M. Insurance Company (+9.84%) and Lasaco Assurance (+9.56%). On the losing side, Union Homes Real Estate Inv. came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 9.93% at NGN 51.25 per share, followed by Associated Bus Company (-9.8%), Universal Insurance Company (-8.33%) and Daar Communications (-6.45%). Sovereign Trust Insurance recorded the highest volume of 607 million traded shares, followed by Cutix (358m), Fidelity Bank (61.9m) and Access Holdings (43.8m).
