The current equities market capitalization stands at NGN 68.90trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 109,619.10basis points, reflecting a decrease of 111.37basis points (0.01%) but a YTD increase of 6.61% from the previous day’s 109,730.47basis points.
In total, 124 NGX listed equities participated in trading, ending with 29 gainers and 28 losers. RT Briscoe led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 2.09 per share, followed by Eunisell Interlinked (+9.75%), Livestock Feeds (+9.61%) and Linkage Assurance (+9.46%). On the losing side, Champion Breweries came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 10% at NGN 7.20 per share, followed by Lasaco Assurance (-10%), McNichols (-9.45%) and Multiverse Mining & Exploration (-7.22%). Japaul Gold and Ventures recorded the highest volume of 90 million traded shares, followed by Tantalizers (82.7m), Fidelity Bank (67.7m) and Nigerian Breweries (52.2m).
