Neimeth International Pharma led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 2.97 per share, followed by Northern Nigeria Flour Mills (+9.99%), Custodian & Allied (+9.69%) and Sunu Assurances Nigeria (+7.99%). On the losing side, BUA Cement came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 10% at NGN 83.70 per share, followed by Ellah Lakes (-4.82%), Regency Alliance Insurance (-4.41%) and Wema Bank (-4.19%). Access Holdings recorded the highest volume of 36.8 million traded shares, followed by Universal Insurance Company (30.1m), Fidelity Bank (28.9m) and Jaiz Bank (22m).
