At the close of today’s trading session on the Nigerian Exchange Ltd (NGX), 350.38Million shares were traded in 10,224deals, amounting to a market value of N9.262Billion. Compared with the previous trading day (Monday November 11), today’s data shows a 18% increase in volume, a 23% increase in value and a 3% increase in the number of deals. The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN58.94trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 97,260.39Basis points, decrease 113.55Basis Points, representing a 0.12% increase, and a YTD increase of 30.07% as against the previous trading day’s close of 97,373.94Basis points.
Cumulatively, 122 NGX equities participated in trading, ending with 20 gainers and 30 losers. Eunisell Interlinked led the gainers with 9.98% share price appreciation closing at NGN 9.92 per share, followed by John Holt (+9.83%), Sunu Assurances Nigeria (+9.71%) and Universal Insurance Company (+6.25%). On the losing side, VFD Group came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 10% at NGN 40.50 per share, followed by Royal Exchange (-9.68%), Oando (-9.42%) and Thomas Wyatt Nigeria (-8.85%). United Capital recorded the highest volume of 76.8 million traded shares, followed by Access Holdings (25.9m), United Bank for Africa (22.9m) and Oando (18.2m).
