The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN67.67trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 108,568.50Basis points, decrease 41.01Basis Points, representing a 0.04% decrease, and a YTD increase of 5.48% as against the previous trading day’s close of 108,609.51Basis points.
Cumulatively, 127 NGX equities participated in trading, ending with 32 gainers and 24 losers. Abbey Mortgage Bank led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 3.41 per share, followed by University Press (+9.78%), Sovereign Trust Insurance (+9.57%) and Regency Alliance Insurance (+7.58%). On the losing side, Union Dicon Salt came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 9.77% at NGN 6.00 per share, followed by Deap Capital Management & Trust (-7.07%), Computer Warehouse Group (-5.75%) and Ikeja Hotel (-5.56%). Ellah Lakes recorded the highest volume of 137 million traded shares, followed by Zenith Bank (23m), Guaranty Trust Holding (20.8m) and Jaiz Bank (17.4m).
