Cumulatively, 125 NGX equities participated in trading, ending with 26 gainers and 35 losers. Northern Nigeria Flour Mills led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 54.45 per share, followed by Dangote Sugar Refinery (+9.91%), John Holt (+9.8%) and The Initiates (+9.8%). On the losing side, Livestock Feeds came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 10% at NGN 5.40 per share, followed by Eunisell Interlinked (-9.97%), Neimeth International Pharma (-9.83%) and Regency Alliance Insurance (-9.33%). Guaranty Trust Holding recorded the highest volume of 65.1 million traded shares, followed by Universal Insurance Company (48.5m), Fidelity Bank (45.9m) and Access Holdings (27.3m).
