At the close of today’s trading session on the Nigerian Exchange Ltd (NGX), 744.54Million shares were traded in 9,700deals, amounting to a market value of N16.478Billion. Compared with the previous trading day (Wednesday November 06), today’s data shows a 78% increase in volume, a 64% increase in value and a 8% increase in the number of deals. The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN58.73trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 96,924.86Basis points, increase 357.62Basis Points, representing a 0.57% decrease, and a YTD increase of 29.62% as against the previous trading day’s close of 96,567.24Basis points.

Cumulatively, 124 NGX equities participated in trading, ending with 32 gainers and 17 losers. Aradel Holdings led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 441.20 per share, followed by Conoil (+10%), Eunisell Interlinked (+9.92%) and John Holt (+9.77%). On the losing side, Tantalizers came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 6.25% at NGN 0.60 per share, followed by Nigerian Exchange Group (-5.81%), Wema Bank (-5.63%) and RT Briscoe (-4.46%). Japaul Gold and Ventures recorded the highest volume of 106 million traded shares, followed by Ellah Lakes (92m), FBN Holdings (70.6m) and Oando (57.2m).
