Total of 125 NGX-listed equities were traded, resulting in 9 gainers and 51 losers, reflecting a bearish market trend. VFD Group topped the gainers’ chart with a 10% increase, closing at NGN 62.70 per share. It was followed by Total Nigeria (+9.61%), Guinea Insurance (+9.52%), and International Energy Insurance (+9.33%). On the downside, Oando led the losers with a 10% decline, closing at NGN 37.80 per share. Cornerstone Insurance, RT Briscoe, and Secure Electronic Technology also fell by 10% each. In terms of trading volume, FCMB Group led with 65.5 million shares traded, followed by Fidelity Bank (42.5 million shares), Guaranty Trust Holding (34.5 million shares), and Access Holdings (31.8 million shares).
