NGX TRADING SUMMARY FOR MONDAY, 16TH FEBRUARY, 2026
MARKET OVERVIEW
At the close of today’s trading session on the Nigerian Exchange Ltd (NGX), a total of 1.062Billion shares were traded in 64,237deals, with a market value of N62.991billion. This represents a 1% increase in volume, a 19% increase in value, and a 27% increase in the number of deals compared to the previous trading day.
The current equities market capitalization stands at NGN122.142trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 190,281.57 basis points, reflecting an increase of 7,968.49basis points (4.37%) but a YTD increase of 17.16% from the previous day’s 182,313.08basis points.
In total, 134 NGX listed equities participated in trading, ending with 57 gainers and 28 losers. Aradel Holdings led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 1,096.70 per share, followed by Beta Glass Company (+10%), Oando (+10%) and Ikeja Hotel (+10%). On the losing side, RT Briscoe came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 9.99% at NGN 15.68 per share, followed by Deap Capital Management & Trust (-9.91%), Caverton Offshore Support Group (-9.62%) and Guinea Insurance (-9.27%). Access Holdings recorded the highest volume of 86.7 million traded shares, followed by Oando (73.5m), Zenith Bank (69.3m) and Mutual Benefits Assurance (67.1m).
