The current equities market capitalization stands at NGN 70.64trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 112,015.95basis points, reflecting an increase of 273.94basis points (0.25%) but a YTD increase of 8.84% from the previous day’s 111,742.01basis points.
In total, 127 NGX listed equities participated in trading, ending with 23 gainers and 36 losers. Multiverse Mining & Exploration led the gainers with 9.87% share price appreciation closing at NGN 8.35 per share, followed by Livestock Feeds (+9.57%), Lasaco Assurance (+8.11%) and Neimeth International Pharma (+8.06%). On the losing side, Legend Internet came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 9.9% at NGN 5.55 per share, followed by Secure Electronic Technology (-9.84%), E-Tranzact International (-9.56%) and University Press (-9.32%). Fidelity Bank recorded the highest volume of 98.8 million traded shares, followed by Royal Exchange (58.4m), Access Holdings (55.2m) and Cutix (32.3m).
