The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN62.85trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 102,353.68Basis points, increase 170.62Basis Points, representing a 0.17% increase, and a YTD increase of 0.56% as against the previous trading day’s close of 102,183.06Basis points.
Cumulatively, 128 NGX listed equities participated in trading, ending with 34 gainers and 23 losers. Livestock Feeds led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 5.94 per share, followed by Caverton Offshore Support Group (+10%), Sovereign Trust Insurance (+10%) and Neimeth International Pharma (+9.94%). On the losing side, Academy Press came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 9.74% at NGN 3.15 per share, followed by PZ Cussons Nigeria (-9.09%), Daar Communications (-8.64%) and Transcorp Nigeria (-5.91%). Access Holdings recorded the highest volume of 49.1 million traded shares, followed by Fidelity Bank (20.4m), United Bank for Africa (20.1m) and Oando (14.8m).
