MARKET OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/h5>
At the close of today\u2019s trading session on the Nigerian Exchange Ltd (NGX), a total of 548.60Million shares were traded in 48,538deals, with a market value of N31.458billion. This represents a 16% decrease in volume, a 21% decrease in value, and a 5% decrease in the number of deals compared to the previous trading day.<\/h5>
The current equities market capitalization stands at NGN131.166trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 203,770.42 basis points, reflecting an increase of 608.61basis points (0.30%) but a YTD increase of 30.56% from the previous day\u2019s 203,161.81basis points.<\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In total, 133 NGX listed equities participated in trading, ending with 23 gainers and 32 losers.\u00a0Trans-Nationwide Express<\/a>\u00a0led the gainers with 9.91% share price appreciation closing at NGN 3.77 per share, followed by\u00a0International Breweries<\/a>\u00a0(+9.88%),\u00a0Chams<\/a>\u00a0(+9.84%) and\u00a0Guinness Nigeria<\/a>\u00a0(+9.38%).
