MARKET OVERVIEW<\/strong><\/h5>
At the close of today\u2019s trading session on the Nigerian Exchange Ltd (NGX), a total of 1.196Billion shares were traded in 92,099deals, with a market value of N27.704billion. This represents a 46% increase in volume, a 2% decrease in value, and a 45% increase in the number of deals compared to the previous trading day.<\/h5>
The current equities market capitalization stands at NGN125956trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 196,242.65 basis points, reflecting an increase of 1,252.88basis points (0.64%) but a YTD increase of 17.16% from the previous day\u2019s 194,989.77basis points.<\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In total, \u00a0132 NGX listed equities participated in trading, ending with 35 gainers and 32 losers.\u00a0Okomu Oil Palm<\/a>\u00a0led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 1,605.60 per share, followed by\u00a0Fortis Global Insurance<\/a>\u00a0(+10%),\u00a0Fidson Healthcare<\/a>\u00a0(+9.9%) and\u00a0NPF Microfinance Bank<\/a>\u00a0(+9.89%).
