NGX TRADING SUMMARY FOR TUESDAY, 10TH FEBRUARY, 2026
MARKET OVERVIEW
At the close of today’s trading session on the Nigerian Exchange Ltd (NGX), a total of 1.303Billion shares were traded in 58,965deals, with a market value of N50.427billion. This represents a 68% increase in volume, a 81% increase in value, and a 11% decrease in the number of deals compared to the previous trading day.
The current equities market capitalization stands at NGN113.497trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 176,809.42 basis points, reflecting an increase of 2,863.20basis points (1.65%) but a YTD increase of 10.36% from the previous day’s 173,946.22basis points.
In total, 131 NGX listed equities participated in trading, ending with 66 gainers and 22 losers. E-Tranzact International led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 20.35 per share, followed by John Holt (+10%), Deap Capital Management & Trust (+10%) and Omatek Ventures (+10%). On the losing side, Abbey Mortgage Bank came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 9.82% at NGN 12.40 per share, followed by Skyway Aviation Handling Co. (-9.06%), Guinea Insurance (-6.67%) and Consolidated Hallmark Holdings (-6.64%). Access Holdings recorded the highest volume of 136 million traded shares, followed by Veritas Kapital Assurance (67.3m), Tantalizers (54.7m) and Zenith Bank (52.1m).
