The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN66.52trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 106,220.62Basis points, increase 130.24Basis Points, representing a 0.12% increase, and a YTD increase of 3.20% as against the previous trading day’s close of 106,090.38Basis points.
Cumulatively, 123 NGX equities participated in trading, ending with 36 gainers and 20 losers. UPDC led the gainers with 9.92% share price appreciation closing at NGN 2.77 per share, followed by International Breweries (+9.62%), Royal Exchange (+9.59%) and Multiverse Mining & Exploration (+8.81%). On the losing side, University Press came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 10% at NGN 4.32 per share, followed by Academy Press (-9.66%), Red Star Express (-9.32%) and Neimeth International Pharma (-8.33%). Tantalizers recorded the highest volume of 29.6 million traded shares, followed by Access Holdings (29.2m), Zenith Bank (28.7m) and Guaranty Trust Holding (26.7m).
