The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN67.27trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 107,822.52Basis points, increase 1,247.54Basis Points, representing a 1.17% increase, and a YTD increase of 4.76% as against the previous trading day’s close of 106,574.98Basis points.
Cumulatively, 128 NGX equities participated in trading, ending with 51 gainers and 16 losers. VFD Group led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 52.80 per share, followed by Ikeja Hotel (+10%), Transcorp Hotels (+9.99%) and Honeywell Flour Mill (+9.99%). On the losing side, Computer Warehouse Group came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 8.95% at NGN 8.65 per share, followed by Regency Alliance Insurance (-7.89%), Lasaco Assurance (-7.25%) and Royal Exchange (-7.22%). Sterling Bank recorded the highest volume of 49.6 million traded shares, followed by Ellah Lakes (34.5m), Zenith Bank (25.5m) and Access Holdings (19.6m).
