The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN66.07trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 105,891.33Basis points, decrease 41.70Basis Points, representing a 0.04% decrease, and a YTD increase of 2.43% as against the previous trading day’s close of 105,933.03Basis points.
Cumulatively, 127 NGX equities participated in trading, ending with 45 gainers and 25 losers. Beta Glass Company led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 95.15 per share, followed by Stanbic IBTC Holdings (+10%), Smart Products Nigeria (+10%) and Honeywell Flour Mill (+9.98%). On the losing side, International Energy Insurance came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 10% at NGN 2.25 per share, followed by RT Briscoe (-9.63%), Julius Berger Nigeria (-8.44%) and Deap Capital Management & Trust (-8.26%). Secure Electronic Technology recorded the highest volume of 84.1 million traded shares, followed by Fidelity Bank (67.8m), Access Holdings (40.2m) and UPDC (36.6m).
