The Current equities market capitalization of the Nigerian Exchange Ltd is NGN59.42trillion, while the All-Share Index (ASI) closed at 98,058.07Basis points, decrease 650.83Basis Points, representing a 0.66% decrease, and a YTD increase of 31.14% as against the previous trading day’s close of 98,708.90Basis points.
Cumulatively 123 equities participated in trading, ending with 26 gainers and 32 losers. Northern Nigeria Flour Mills led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 37.40 per share, followed by Eunisell Interlinked (+9.87%), The Initiates (+9.81%) and Livestock Feeds (+7.73%). On the losing side, Cadbury Nigeria came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 9.89% at NGN 16.40 per share, followed by Academy Press (-9.87%), Royal Exchange (-9.72%) and Aradel Holdings (-8.33%). United Bank for Africa recorded the highest volume of 90.4 million traded shares, followed by Chams (80.6m), Transcorp Nigeria (31.7m) and Zenith Bank (22.9m).
