Golden Guinea Breweries led the gainers with 10% share price appreciation closing at NGN 3.74 per share, followed by Deap Capital Management & Trust (+9.85%), Transcorp Power (+9.68%) and Jaiz Bank (+8.64%). On the losing side, Aradel Holdings came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 10% at NGN 694.80 per share, followed by Regency Alliance Insurance (-8.82%), Daar Communications (-6.78%) and UAC of Nigeria (-6.7%). Sterling Bank recorded the highest volume of 42.8 million traded shares, followed by Zenith Bank (20.1m), Guaranty Trust Holding (19.6m) and Access Holdings (16.3m).
